Identity development

Georgia Hughes creates hand made jewellery from new, recycled and found beads. Her pieces are sophisticated, yet each has its own personality. In order to promote her products she required a brand identity that made her stand out amongst the predominantly floral aesthetics of the competition.

Inspiration was drawn from the eccentric modernism and symmetry of Art Deco architecture and design. The movement had no intention but to be purely decorative, which mirrors the purpose of the jewellery. The stamped logo and greyscale printing allows the visual style to be applied across a range of media at minimal cost.
