La Cigale is a little piece of France in the middle of Auckland, New Zealand. It is the place to go for an eclectic mix of authentic French antiques, homewares, clothing, food and wine.
The growing popularity of the business, particularly the French Market, presented an opportunity to further expand the brand. The mark was updated, and a range of products was produced that captured the eclectic nature of La Cigale. The tea towels feature a cicada wing motif, and the French fable 'La cigale et la fourmi' – 'The cricket and the ant'.
